Mrs. Moak's Place

Hi, I am Mrs. Catrina Moak.

I am a wife to a wonderful husband and mom of 3 grown amazing kids. One of our kids has special needs and still lives with us. One of our kids is in the Coast Guard, married, and is expecting our first grand baby soon. Our third kid is an amazing hair stylist and runs her own business. 

I am also a special education teacher. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2002 with both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. I taught in the public schools for 13 years before starting Mrs. Moak's Place in 2016. I hold several certifications from the Texas State Board of Education. These include certifications for regular education PreK-8th grade and also for special education PreK-12th grade as well as a few specialties. My passion is helping others learn and grow. I love seeing someone be able to do something for the first time and seeing that light come on in their eyes when they realize they can do it. I am here to help others and I know I am blessed by being a blessing to others.
